Centerpiece Idea

A Crafty Afternoon

Last weekend, my friend, Grace, and I had a fun way spending an afternoon, making a table centerpiece. To make your own, you will need: dried lavender bundles, at least 8″ to 10″ tall (we ordered ours from Save-on-Crafts), a glue gun and glue sticks (clear), cylinder glass vases (around 7.5″ x 3.25″ ), ivory candles, raffia ribbons (natural or color of your choice) and a pair of scissor. Starting by carefully trimming lavender bundles to sizes, apply hot glue to the bottom of each stem. Secure each stem firmly in place around the vase. Finally, wrap a raffia ribbon around the vase and tie a knot to hold it into place. With a bit of creativity, you can do it, too!
